What You'll Do:
- Manage the gas leak survey operations, such as the development, execution and monitoring of the master leak survey programme, including the geo-spatial risk based programme.
- Manage the gas inspection programme for gas riser pipes, consumer internal pipes, as well as the Certification of Fitness submission by the Responsible Parties, in accordance to the requirements of the Gas Act, Gas Supply Regulations and the Gas Supply Code.
- Develop and maintain the master plan for the gas inspection programme, to meet the requirements stipulated in the Gas Act, Gas Supply Regulations, and the Gas Supply Code.
- Oversee the development and training of staff.
- Manage and resolve issues with gas consumers, premise owners or public with regards to pipe inspection and repair works.
- Responsible for the administration and/or welfare of staff, e.g. transport, overtime, and medical claims, etc.
- Collation and compilation of leak survey and gas inspection monthly report for submission to management.
- Review work processes regularly to ensure procedures and equipment are appropriate and up to date, and to explore new work processes or equipment which will enhance safety, work efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure tools and equipment are always properly maintained and fit for purpose.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely.
- Perform any other duties related to the job scope
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Mechanical / related discipline from university recognized by Singapore PE Board
- Preferable to have at least 1-year experience in managing a team of technicians / technical officers, although fresh graduates are also welcomed.
- Software application knowledge is preferable.
- Candidates who are customer-oriented with good communication, staff management and inter-personal relations skills would be advantageous.
- Preferable to have own means of transport.
