capabilities, platform supply vessels, offshore floating storage and supply vessels, submersible

launch barges, maintenance and accommodation vessels, utility support vessels, flat top cargo

barges, accommodation work barges, towing tugs, utility vessels, lift boats, and crew boats.

With our Shipyard in Batam, Indonesia, downstream services such as fabrication and

engineering capabilities, vessel docking, repair and maintenance works are fully dedicated to

delivering operational and service excellence.

Job Purpose

To provide support and oversee and drive the operations of submersible barges.

Job Responsibilities

  • Upkeep and repair all equipment and machinery onboard vessel.
  • Ensure the maintenance and submersible barges comply to statutory regulations,
company, and charterer requirements.
  • Evaluate and improve the cost efficiency on pricing for stores and spares parts required
for fleet of vessels and barges.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on the delivery of items for fleet of vessels and barges.
  • Review and improve the working instructions and tasks execution process.
  • Provide support to Operations Department in outdoor field works such as surveys and
new build delivery etc.
  • Assist to disseminate clear instructions to Master and engineer onboard vessel.
  • Assist in the delivery of vessels and support vessel inspection by Clients, Tow
surveyors and MWS.
  • To coordinate all harbour movement of owned and 3rd party vessels and barges.
  • Maintain proper records of sailing instructions, delivery orders, towering gears and
testing documents.
  • Liaise with Maritime regulators and ensure smooth flow of vessel related certificates.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Offshore marine industry or shipping line.
  • Diploma in Marine Engineering or Nautical studies is preferred.
