Job Summary

We are a distributor business, and have Clients (companies which we help with Sourcing, Market insights, Marketing and sales, Distribution & Logistics, and After Sales Service) and Customers (entities who buy our products). The scope of customers ranges from public to private sectors and academia. This can range from semiconductor, pharmaceutical, life science, oil & gas, inks & paints, food services.

General Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct team of field sales & service engineers to oversee and manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources.
  • Lead and manage sales team in order to deliver growth plan and increase market share.
  • Take initiatives in developing new business, including adding new products to our current portfolio, providing new service package, and developing new business models.
  • Lead the development of technical service procedures and structures to improve quality of service, reduce turnaround times and optimize costs.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance service competitiveness in order to increase service contract sales and volumes.
  • Monitor all existing (firm orders) as well as pipeline (anticipated orders) preventive maintenance service contract schedules to ensure efficient resource planning.
  • Lead the team to provide timely resolutions, ensuring minimal impact to customers and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the development of customer complaint handling procedures and structures.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Facilitate and resolve customers' technical and quality issues by providing technical leadership and coaching to field service engineers.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years team leading experience.
  • Have a strong background in Business Development within the Scientific Instruments sector.
  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
