Job Summary

As a key member of DKSH central tax team, you will manage the implementation of the Group's tax and transfer pricing policy, as well as advise on general Group tax matters.

General Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of DKSH’s business and operating structure.
  • Oversee all transfer pricing matters globally, taking ownership over the design and implantation of group policy, implementation and defense.
  • Taking a strong project lead role in end to end involvement in tax incentive discussions as well as proactively develop plans/strategies to mitigate tax risks and optimize opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Tax department to ensure that all aspects of tax have been considered.
  • Provide clear, consistent and comprehensive tax guidance to cross-functional teams/internal stakeholders in a timely manner and implement workable tax solutions for commercial arrangements, internal restructuring exercises, M&A activities, contract negotiation, etc.
  • Identify areas of improvements for tax work process and create roadmap to implement the improvements and enhance good tax practices and work processes.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 8 years of relevant tax experience in a Big 4 and/or MNC.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate taxes and Transfer Pricing with a key focus on handling regional and cross-border tax issues.
  • Demonstrate strong research and analytical skills.
  • Any restructuring and M&A experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel, SAP and Hyperion (or equivalent ERP system) is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and self-starter as well as ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly to non-tax audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and across cultures, and a multi-tasker with strong project management skills.

Education

Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent, preferably with CPA / CA or advanced taxation qualification.
