Deputy Director / Senior Assistant Director Enterprise Risk Management (CDA)

You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that will require you to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities concurrently.
What you will be working on
The key responsibilities include the following:
Lead the development and implementation of CDA’s risk management strategy and framework that is aligned with the agency’s overall mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritisation of risks across CDA.
Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.
Establish and maintain a risk reporting system to keep senior management and stakeholders informed. Develop key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitor them regularly
Prepare and present risk reports to the management committee and board of directors
Work with our Operations division on the development and maintenance of business continuity plans to ensure the agency is prepared to respond effectively to potential disruptions and emergencies
Ensure compliance with relevant risk management standards and regulations
Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to strengthen the agency's risk management practices
Foster a risk-aware culture throughout the agency through risk management training programmes for staff at all levels.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their risk perspectives and concerns
Contribute to the agency's strategic planning process, ensuring alignment of organisational development initiatives with overall strategic objectives
What we are looking for
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in risk management, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
Professional risk management certification (e.g., CRMA, CRISC) is highly desirable
Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and best practices
Experience in public health or healthcare risk management is preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Experience in crisis management and business continuity planning
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
