Senior / Assistant Director (Air and Droplet Borne Division)

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What you will be working on:
Formulation, implementation, monitoring and review of the prevention and control strategies for air and droplet borne diseases
Epidemiological investigation and outbreak management for air and droplet borne diseases
Develop and implement disease surveillance programmes for air and droplet borne diseases
Provide technical subject matter expertise for air and droplet borne diseases
Programme management and administration
Human Resource Management
What we are looking for:
Tertiary qualification, preferably good honours in a life science discipline; or medical or nursing background
Postgraduate degree in Public Health or Epidemiology or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience in public health
Strong analytical skillsets, including grasp of data analysis techniques
Ability to work under pressure and simultaneously on different projects
Excellent organisational skills and resourcefulness
Good inter-personal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across disciplines
Willing to work beyond office hours, especially during outbreaks
Willing to continuously keep up-to-date on new developments in the communicable diseases field
Able to lead and inspire others
