A day in the life of an Assistant Brand Manager…

  • Effective category and brand management to generate demand and deliver desired volume, share and profit objectives.
  • Effective and efficient implementation of category and brand plans (strategic and tactical) to achieve growth objectives. Contribute to implementation of channel-specific activations.
  • Drive innovation and renovation activities to support category and brand growth objectives.
  • Evaluate marketing plan implementation, I&R launches (including packaging).
  • Responsible for developing the brand plan for premium coffee brands (Roastelier, Buondi, Starbucks) and work closely with coffee lead to ensure that it fits into overall category strategy.
  • Lead the Integrated Commercial Planning process to define strategic and operational plan to achieve growth and profitability ambition for the category.
  • Develop consumer, category, customer and channel insights and provide in-depth category analyses to ensure effective RTM and demand generation to optimize resources.
  • Initiate lead generation campaign (AAGR) and conduct post campaign analysis to document learnings.
  • Generate consumer, category, customer and channel insights and leverage for campaigns and activations at sites.
  • Assets management, implementation and execution across sites for CORE and LTO activation.
  • Manage PR/GR in accordance to Marketing Plans.
  • Collaborate with sales and supply chain to manage accuracy and growth opportunity within Demand and Forecast.
  • Identifying within sales channels - growth and activities on Premium coffee.

What will make you successful

  • Degree graduate with 3 years’ experience in Consumer Marketing and/or trade marketing, or exhibits strong functional skill.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of FMCG brands, products and projects.
  • Managed independently under challenging/demanding market environments to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Sales operations experience is an advantage.
  • Has experience of working with cross-functional groups.
