Centre Associate

Established since 1987, ECON Healthcare Group celebrates more than 35 years of commitment to quality healthcare and eldercare services. As a regional provider for integrated healthcare services in Singapore, Malaysia, and China, the Group incorporates a chain of medicare centres and nursing homes, hospital services, a careskill training centre, a chain of senior services centres, home care services, physiotherapy services, and traditional Chinese medicine services. The Group also provides consultancy for the development and management of retirement living communities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct on-site activities for seniors that promote social interaction, and health and wellness in a group setting that meets performance indicators and guidelines issued by MOH
• Oversee the day-to-day operation and provide supervision
• Initiate a case record file for every senior household in the identified block and capture the needs of the seniors
• Establish networks with agencies and local community-based services for additional help for the welfare and to match the needs of the seniors
• Oversee and manage the Alert Alarm System (AAS) during operating hours, rendering assistance when necessary
• Maintain an updated register of seniors, volunteers, and any other important records needed for follow-up
• Conduct home care assessments and complete initial assessments (using Community Screening Tool) of senior and family to determine home care needs
• Ensure that the centre facilities and premises are in clean and good condition, and maintenance is regularly executed
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE “O” level with customer service background
• Well versed in Microsoft Office
• Competency in eldercare service with at least 2 years working experience in eldercare
• Self-motivated team player who enjoys working with different profiles of seniors
• Able to plan, develop, and implement programmes to meet the needs of seniors
• Able to engage, befriend, and motivate seniors through facilitation of activities or programmes
