What the role is

You will be part of a team to conceptualize and implement new initiatives to support the employment of senior workers aged 50 years old and above. You will be working with a range of stakeholders such as employers, senior worker communities and/or intermediaries.

What you will be working on

Programme Conceptualization

  • Identify and assess new ways to support (i) employers in addressing their manpower challenges; (ii) senior workers in securing employment opportunities; and (iii) intermediaries to improve matching of senior workers to opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as strategic partners, labour market intermediaries and government agencies.
  • Consult and work with stakeholders to design effective interventions to support employers and senior workers.

Programme Management and Implementation

  • Design and develop end-to-end employer- and senior worker-centric user journey.
  • Account manage appointed partners, from the appointment to the management of their respective contracts and deliverables.
  • Review programme parameters and operational processes to ensure programme effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the overall administration, including budget utilisation and requirement projections, data reporting, and audit and governance.
  • Support development of digital solutions to enhance operations and user experience.
  • Manage the public comms of the initiative, including addressing enquiries and feedback.

What we are looking for

You should have the following work experience and knowledge:

  • Relevant experience in areas such as business development, project management and planning.
  • Good understanding of Singapore's labour market, including the intermediaries and their role in matching supply and demand.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Prior experience working with PMET senior workers aged 50 years old and above, will be advantageous.
  • Prior experience working with C-suite level stakeholders and partners, will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in using MS Office software especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidates without the required qualifications, including fresh graduates, but with relevant experience are welcome to apply.

  • Communication: Capable of delivering clear and effective written and oral communication to effectively engage stakeholders. To also possess strong interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders professionally across all levels.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changes, problem-solve resourcefully, and make sound judgments tailored to the circumstances of each case.
  • Attention to Detail: Able to ensure accuracy in data management with a strong numerical sense, and attentiveness to details.
  • Personal Effectiveness: Able to work independently, and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. To also demonstrate capability and proactiveness in resourcefulness and problem solving.
