We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as Programming Executive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where creativity, innovation, and collaboration are highly valued. This role plays a key part in supporting our English content programming, with a strong focus on program scheduling and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing effective programming strategies that maximize content inventory and drive channel ratings.
  • Analyze audience ratings data and track channel performance across key territories.
  • Plan and coordinate both long-term and monthly programming line-ups, taking into account audience trends, affiliate requirements, and sales needs.
  • Maintain and input daily schedules using scheduling software (WHATS'ON), ensuring high accuracy and zero scheduling errors.
  • Liaise with content distributors for schedule confirmations, marketing assets, and broadcast material deliveries.
  • Coordinate with localization vendors on program titles, descriptions, and episodic synopses.
  • Disseminate program schedules and manage related enquiries from affiliate operators.
  • Support video-on-demand scheduling and non-linear content planning.
  • Prepare compelling content slides and briefings to highlight program highlights for internal teams and key external partners.
  • Collaborate with Creative Services, Marketing, and Operations teams to support strong promotional efforts and meet ratings goals.
  • Monitor competitor channels and keep up-to-date with English-language content trends, particularly from the US market.
  • Perform administrative duties including data entry, system updates, purchase order generation, and contract detail management to support seamless channel operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Media Studies, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the media or television industry.
  • Passion for Hollywood-inspired English entertainment and content.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with US studios.
  • Proficiency in Chinese is essential for translations of program description and episodic synopses for target audiences in Southeast Asia and Greater China.
  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive team player who is self-motivated, resourceful, and creative.
