The Legal, Ethics, Compliance & Quality (LECQ) function is all about supporting business growth while safeguarding the company and its patients. The Position
We are looking for a dynamic Legal, Ethics & Compliance Analyst to join our team. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to driving and supporting on operational and/or strategic projects within the below areas.
Ethics & Compliance
- Provide E&C risk review and advise (e.g., compliance review for local business project)
- Plan and execute local E&C training and awareness activities
- Develop and update of local compliance programmes
- Contribute to the creation, update and awareness of corporate requirements in The Ethics Navigator
- Drive activities within data ethics & privacy, incl. Privacy Management Tool implementation and updates, process mapping, awareness building, risk management, etc.
- Drive activities within ESG and human rights, including to drive processes and projects for data collection and external reporting on CSRD, the EU Taxonomy and other ESG regulation
- Support on projects and assessments related to third party risk management
- Lead communication and awareness projects within Ethics & Compliance, including the development of a Global E&C Comms. Strategy
- Partake in projects related to Ethics Culture & Leadership (e.g., development of culture measurement metrics, update of the global E&C strategy)
- Drive activities related to Ethics Week / Ethics Days locally, regionally or globally
Legal
- Support on contract management processes and assistance, including review of local contracts and update of contract templates and clauses
- Analyse local laws and regulations applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturers
- Drive and/or support on global, regional or local projects within legal
- Provide legal advice (where possible)
- Contribute to and/or drive projects, processes, risk assessments and training / awareness activities within competition law
- Develop and drive implementation of patent strategy
- Assist on reporting processes and other relevant activities within the Corporate Secretariat
Risk Management
- Contribute to overall risk management processes within LEC, including the biennial risk reporting process
- Drive vendor assessments and audits
- Conduct local risk assessments
- Conduct local risk monitoring and establish monitoring plans and strategies
Project Management
- Help building the foundation for the future LEC function by driving development of digital projects and processes
- Roll out of compliance-related systems and processes, such as a new Grants Donations and Sponsorships solution or system for Transfers of Value mapping
- Contribute to or drive projects and processes for automated / modernized risk monitoring
- IT and streamlining of legal and compliance processes
- Contribute to and drive other relevant local projects
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as law, business administration, sustainability, political science or public health studies, with excellent academic records
- Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is considered a benefit
- Ability to quickly adapt to change
- Team-player attitude, excellent communication skills, high drive and eagerness to learn
