Are you an experienced sales professional in commodity derivatives looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading global commodities brokerage and financial services firm, specializing in trading, risk management, and market analysis, is seeking a driven and ambitious Vice President to join their fast-growing OTC Sales team in Singapore.

This is a high-impact, mid-level role with the opportunity to manage a growing portfolio of clients and contribute directly to the expansion of the business across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage a client portfolio across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on Thailand.
  • Originate new client relationships through networking, personal connections, and internal collaboration.
  • Provide high-quality OTC commodity sales coverage—quote prices, execute deals, and offer market insights.
  • Suggest trading ideas based on client exposure and market trends.
  • Coordinate client onboarding, KYC documentation, and credit approval processes.
  • Travel occasionally to Thailand and other regional markets to maintain strong client relationships.
  • May be responsible for guiding 1–2 junior team members, depending on business needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in OTC commodity derivatives sales (e.g., swaps, futures, options).
  • Familiarity with energy-related commodities (oil, coal, emissions preferred).
  • Strong client management and sales execution skills.
  • Knowledge of onboarding, credit processes, and legal documentation.
  • Experience in the Thai market is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Thai language is a plus to liaise with Thai-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Thai business culture and client engagement practices.
  • Strong team collaboration skills and commercial acumen.
  • High standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism.
