Automation Sales Engineer
We’re Hiring: Automation Sales Engineer – Electronics, Assembly & Test Segment
At Festo, we’re looking for a driven Automation Sales Engineer to help us expand our presence in the Electronics and Assembly & Test industries. The Sales Engineer will drive plans to influence OEMs to specify Festo products in relevant applications while providing technical and commercial support. This role requires close collaboration with the regional sales team and cross-functional departments to deliver customer-focused solutions and achieve sales targets.The Sales Engineer will drive plans to influence OEMs to specify Festo products in relevant applications while providing technical and commercial support. Job Responsibilities
Identify and convert new business opportunities in the Electronics and A&T segments
Engage with OEMs, system integrators, and end users to influence specification of Festo solutions
Present technical solutions and articulate the commercial value to customers
Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial negotiations
Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, supply chain) to deliver solutions
Manage opportunity pipelines via CRM and meet/exceed sales targets and KPIs
Proactively seek feedback to improve customer satisfaction and internal processes
Contribute to digital and hybrid sales engagement strategies
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Process Engineering
Postgraduate qualifications in Business or Technical Sales are a plus
3–4 years of relevant business experience in technical/solution-based sales
Industry knowledge in Electronics or A&T-related applications is preferred
Familiarity with Festo products is an advantage
