Position Summary
Your main responsibilities will be to oversee the procurement SCM functions, system data accuracy, and ensure the compliance of the global policies and regulations of respective countries. To achieve this objective, you will have to work closely with internal stakeholders from HQ, regional offices and global factories. This is an Individual Contributor role
Role and Responsibilities
1. ERP Master Database Maintenance and Procurement Transaction Monitoring

- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Procurement ERP Master Database, supporting seamless operations and compliance with organizational standards
- Monitor procurement transactions to ensure data accuracy and facilitate timely monthly closing of SAP-MM processes
- Continuously monitor supplier performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational standards and objectives
- Support the evaluation of suppliers based on Samsung’s global procurement strategy
- Oversee the management of regional suppliers’ ESG reporting to ensure alignment with Samsung’s ESG management framework
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal in adherence with the relevant regulations (eg. IRAS, Singapore Customs)
- Assist in preparing documents and providing necessary documentation for internal and external audits
- Lead Ad-hoc projects to enhance Supply Chain process for the region. Recommend actionable improvements to streamline operations and achieve cost optimization goals
- Collect, analyze and interpret data related to system procedure and information flows, and operational activities. Assess the efficiency and costs of chain processes
- Work with the IT team to implement efficient processes within the ERP or other Samsung internal systems
- Minimum Diploma, preferably Degree in Business/Logistics/SCM with 3-5 years' of relevant career experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
- Proven experience in procurement, ERP systems (preferably SAP-MM), and supply chain management
- Use of computer & tools like MS Office, with advance skills in MS Excel & Power Point Presentation. Experience in SAP, knowledge in Tableau and Visual Basic would-be a plus
- Good Knowledge of Southeast Asia supply chain and customs regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT
- A team player with good interpersonal communication Skills (Written, Verbal and presentation), additional knowledge of Korean/ASEAN languages a plus
