This role is responsible for defining and executing APAC strategic plans to drive market-leading double-digit growth. This encompasses leadership of cross-functional / cross-BU complex strategic project initiatives (including any Enterprise Priorities) that have significant impact on Stryker APAC growth aspirations. This role will need to establish APAC PMO capability to foster a culture of excellence in project delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning to drive market-leading double-digit growth
- Lead and continue to strengthen the annual APAC Strategy Planning exercise with APAC Leadership Team (APLT)
- Develop and oversee the execution of APAC Growth Plan
- Identify incremental revenue growth opportunities by working with relevant senior leadership stakeholders (APLT, markets leadership, APAC Marketing and APAC Finance)
- Develop business case with clear and measurable ROI targets for growth / major initiatives to secure necessary investments
- Work with relevant senior leadership stakeholders to determine appropriate growth operating model
- Partner APLT to prioritize projects that deliver maximum business value.
Enterprise Priorities and Strategic Projects
- Lead relevant Enterprise Priorities in collaboration with APLT and Corporate Enterprise Strategy team. Examples include any globalization related initiatives, and any capability setup required to enable Enterprise Priorities
- Identify and execute high impact cross-functional strategic projects that drive revenue growth, improve margins or are foundational capability required for Stryker’s future growth. Examples include cross-BU or multi-markets commercial projects, lead integration planning for major/transformative Stryker acquisition and go-to-market reviews
Establish regional PMO (Project Management Office) capability
- Define, implement, and continuously evolve the PMO strategy to support the organization’s growth and complexity.
- Establish consistent and scalable PMO governance structure, tools and methodologies to ensure successful execution and accountability
- Build and develop a high-performing PMO team aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Progressing PMO capability and governance across APAC markets
- Collaborate with Stryker Global PMO Council to drive project management excellence and make PMO a competitive advantage for Stryker
Key requirements
Qualification and Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, business transformation or corporate development, ideally within MedTech, Life Sciences or Healthcare sectors
- Proven experience leading complex regional projects and cross-functional teams in matrix environment to deliver tangible and measurable outcomes
- Strong knowledge of APAC Medtech and healthcare industry including market dynamics and regulatory considerations
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree in Business, Life Science, or Engineering from a top-tier institution
