HSE Paramedic

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Attends to medical / trauma cases onboard vessels & worksite
• Conducts 1st Aid training for Safety Personnel
• Maintains 1st Aid facilities in the yard
• Maintains the emergency equipment in the ambulance
• Records of daily accidents / incidents
• Assists in station duty
• Liaises with Medical Centre on medical matter
• Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SCDF Paramedic Level 3 with at least 1 year experience as an operational paramedic
• At least 1 year experience as an operational paramedic
• Well versed with all the medical / trauma equipment and Intra Venus (IV) Management
• Renders and stabilises patient in trauma cases
• Sound knowledge in the application of rescue / medical equipment and administration of emergency drugs
• Prepared to work late hours and also on weekends and public holidays and be prepared for call-up at any time
• Resourceful, able to work under pressure, high degree of integrity, responsible, committed team player and good leadership qualities

Mon – Thurs: 8:00am – 5:15pm

Fri: 8:00am – 4:30pm
