Job Description

  • Designing, analysing, and altering plans, prototypes, or structures.
  • Ensuring building plans, prototypes, and structures are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
  • Assisting team members with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • Establishing project goals.
  • Identifying and solving problems in building plans, prototypes, and structures.
  • Ensuring building systems are functional, reliable, and safe.
  • Participating in site visits.
  • Testing and evaluating building systems to find problems and improvements.
  • Reading, interpreting, and explaining complex technical documents.
  • Preparing and reviewing Method Statements to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely project execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with LTA and other regulatory requirements for MRT projects
  • Coordinating with structural and M&E engineers to integrate architectural designs with MRT infrastructure and station functionality.
  • Developing architectural solutions for construction challenges encountered on-site, including waterproofing, fire safety, and accessibility requirements

Requirement:

  • A bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or related field.
  • Familiar with Singapore local authority and agencies requirements.
  • Experience in LTA projects would be preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations
  • The ability to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided drafting.
  • Experience in managing large-scale construction projects
  • Good team working and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modelling) is preferred
  • Experience in managing subcontractors for large-scale construction projects is preferred
  • Good time management skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills.
