DESIGNATION : Senior / Broadcast Operations Executive, Media Playout
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior / Broadcast Operations Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing TV playout operations, providing radio operation support, and monitoring digital TV via IP systems.
The role involves continuously monitoring TV and radio equipment performance to ensure seamless broadcasts. Additionally, you will maintain compliance records and service logs while staying vigilant for any system anomalies or faults. Strong attention to detail, adherence to technical instructions, and effective communication with stakeholders are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming, outgoing, and off-air TV and radio signals to ensure quality and process continuity
- Perform live TV playout control operations, coordinating with News, Studio, and OB productions
- Verify recorded content segments against cue sheet, commercial and on-air promotion schedules
- Comply with workplace safety and cybersecurity policies while carrying out duties
- Prepare and submit TV playout and radio operations reports based on assigned duties
- Execute recovery procedures to restore normal on-air services during disruptions
- Collaborate with program planning, scheduling, and ad sales teams to source TV filler materials for time adjustments
- Identify recurring issues in TV playout and radio operations and recommend solutions for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in TV and radio broadcast operations
- In-depth understanding of TV playout systems, radio operations, and automation software
- Knowledge of broadcast workflows, automation playlist and signal transmission
- Ability to manage live and recorded broadcasts with precision
- Clearly conveys information to stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination between teams
- Listens actively and provides constructive feedback to enhance team performance
- Works effectively across departments, including News, Studio, Production, and Engineering
