3 months Job Description The Marine Broking Executive provides expert marine insurance services, managing client needs, insurance placements, and documentation while ensuring seamless claims support and renewals.

Responsibilities

Provide marine insurance broking advice and assist with insurance placements under the guidance of senior brokers Liaise with clients and prospects to understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options Collect underwriting information from clients for submission to underwriters for quotations and terms Review and evaluate insurance rates, terms, and conditions, advising clients accordingly Prepare and manage documentation for insurance placements, including quotation slips, closing slips, schedules, cover notes, endorsements, and capacity confirmations Ensure timely processing of invoices and maintain records for policies, invoices, endorsements, updates, cancellations, and renewals Collate and submit claims-related documents and information received from relevant parties Monitor clients' statements of accounts and ensure premium collections are up to date Pursue relevant training and certifications to meet job requirements and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) standards Handle special assignments, ad hoc tasks, and other related duties as needed Regularly review renewal business, prepare in advance, and take necessary actions to ensure timely policy renewals

Job Requirement Qualifications

Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management or a Certificate in General Insurance from the Singapore College of Insurance (or equivalent) Positive work attitude with strong interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency Strong time management skills and adherence to deadlines Proficient in IT, particularly Excel (including pivot tables) Prior experience in a related field is preferred
