Overview:
AWESOME (Adolescent Wellness Service - Options Made Easy) is a part of the Child and Maternal Health and Well-being (CAMH) Strategy, which drives for better health outcomes for children and their families and supports our youths to achieve their maximum human development potential. The programme aims to:
- implement a community adolescent health initiative to provide preventive health screening forr adolescents and their families;
- leverage existing youth support services provided by youth workers and healthcare professionals; and
- enhance existing resources on adolescent health to increase health literacy and awareness.
Primary Responsibilities (AWESOME Programme):
- Support the development of family and child health strategy for the western cluster.
- Programme development: work with stakeholders to develop effective interventions to improve family and child health in the western cluster.
- Programme operations and administration: drive effective and sustainable programme operations and administration (e.g. secretariat spport, funding management, recruitment, communications, setup of workflows, etc).
- Evaluation and continuous improvement: develop timely and effective evaluation efforts and engage in coninuous improvement to improve programme delivery.
- Integration and streamlining of programmes into the overall Child and Maternal Health strategy.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Corss coverage for NUWoC Community Operations team.
- Support for NUWoC and NUH related events.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business and healthcare related disciplines, e.g. public health.
- At least 3 years of worrking experience, preferably in a healthcare setting and/or experience in sector development, programme management.
- Meticulous and eye for details, in driving programme and operational excellence.
- Strong interpersonal, communications and change management skills (e.g., for stakeholders and staff engagement).
- Ability to work independantly (day to day operations) and as a team (development and care integration).
- Excellent IT skills in areas such as Microsoft Office applications, databases (Tableau)
