About the job:
The business analyst works to understand business needs and processes and to act as a liaison between the business and the technical team. He/she is responsible for building strong collaborative relationships with the ASEAN teams (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand) as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan, with a specific focus on the sales and marketing teams and process owners. He/she is responsible for understanding business processes, eliciting, and documenting requirements, and coordinating communication among various business groups and IT technical teams.
What you will be doing:
Build and maintain strong relationship with the regional and functional teams.
Partner with business across Asia Pacific and technical teams globally to drive consensus on the best solution to business problems and the delivery of new solutions and enhancements
Define tangible use cases that align desired technology output to commercial objectives
Recommend business process and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
Ensure clear communication between business stakeholders and IT technical teams.
Specializes in Commercial Excellence processes and participate in projects across Asia Pacific.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Asia Pacific to understand user requirements and deliver Commercial Excellence projects across Asia Pacific.
Participate in multi-country Commercial Excellence projects in East Asia.
Who are we looking for:
Bachelors or Diploma required in Information Technology. Bachelors in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required.
Experience with process mapping, documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required.
Experience working with high level business stakeholders is required.
Ability to understand, evaluate and recommend changes to business processes is required.
Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies is preferred.
Change management and communication management.
Demonstrated strong communication and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to partner with business representatives at all levels to identify needs, define and document requirements, and drive solutions
Demonstrated ability to develop detailed project requests or charters which include project objectives, success criteria, and requirements
Experience in identifying opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies
Demonstrated ability maintain clear communication channels with IT and business stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Demonstrated ability to convert complex business functions into technical specifications
