Sr. PostgreSQL Database Consultant

Experience

• Total 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management services
• Total 8+ years of relevant experience in PostgreSQL database architecture, including setup, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database management and administration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL.
• Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Familiarity with database security best practices.
• Experience with database migration and upgrade processes.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery techniques.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL database and other databases.
• Strong background in Linux system administration.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools and processes.
• Experience in working on infrastructure projects with BFSI customers.
• Experience of global delivery with an offshore/ onsite model.
• Experience working in agile and DevOps-driven environments.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
