Responsibilities

Team Introduction In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide. Responsibilities 1. Conduct cross-functional projects to obtain appropriate security certificates, such as PCI DSS and ISO27001, to meet industry-wide highest security standards for all relevant PIPO entities and data centers. Organize periodic re-assessments, renewals, and remediations in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Manage relationships with internal and external auditors to achieve satisfactory results. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously strengthen PIPO's data control framework (PCF) to both support TikTok's overall PCF enhancements and adhere to various regulatory requirements faced by PIPO entities. The PCF framework includes, but not limited to: data taxonomy, data retention, data sharing, processing activities, purpose limitation, data subject rights, privacy policies, and privacy awareness, etc. Assess validity and priorities of incoming requests. Clearly identify the commonalities and distinctions between PIPO's and TT's PCF requirements. Actively engage with PIPO internal functions to design and implement changes. 3. Discover, evaluate, report and remediate privacy and data security incidents. Adhere to SOPs and SLAs that are set by regulators and/or aligned with various stakeholders, such as GSO, PDPO, PnS, Privacy Legal, DPO, and GLC. 4. Actively participate in the design and implementation of security penetration testing to reveal security vulnerabilities. Coordinate remediation efforts based on the severity levels of findings. Manage cross-functional projects with Bytedance Infra and GSO if necessary. 5. Guarantee PIPO's compliance with respect to USDS and EU Clover data policies. Help PIPO Global and USDS Payment team members fully understand the restrictions and facilitate with product and system designs. Build a strategic partnership with USDS Risk and Compliance team. Lead necessary PIPO system modifications when new requirements arise regarding USDS, Clover or any other similar specialized data zones. 6. Fully support PIPO's new entity establishment, financial license applications/renewals, and IT/Security assessments on potential acquisition targets. Guarantee timely completion of major milestones

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Strong background in data privacy and data security with profound understanding of privacy frameworks, security vulnerability types, and remediation solutions. - A team player with excellent cross-functional collaborations and strong project management skills. - Fluent in verbal and written English as a working language. Preferred Qualifications - At least 5 years of extensive experience in IT infrastructure, architecture, data security, and privacy of multi-national, multi-tenancy, distributed systems. Experience with payment or financial services, IT audit, or technical consulting is a plus
