From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

  • Support stocking of component engine parts from New Make and Consignment materials.

  • Picking and swapping of component engine parts for shipment.

  • Ensure parts send in for stocking from shop and paperwork associated with the parts is complete.

  • Perform all required transactions for material transfer.

  • Perform cycle-count and Annual Physical Inventory

  • Liaise and coordinate with other functional departments to ensure timely closure of customer orders.

  • Support and perform Inbound Receiving scope for Repair parts.

  • Support and perform Outbound shipment scope for Repair parts.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge in Inventory Management

  • Basic knowledge in IT (e.g. Microsoft Office)

  • Able to operate Automated Storage Retrieval System/Lean Lift for parts storage and retrieval

Required Qualifications:

  • O’ Level/ NITEC and/or with Experience in Shipping or Equivalent and

  • Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fast learner

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Able to carry heavy load

  • Forklift license

  • Effective communication skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet the delivery requirements

  • Able to work with a Quality mind
