Position Overview

As a leading commodities trading house, this role offers hands-on experience in risk management, focusing on gold and other derivatives products. The ideal candidate will support daily risk operations, monitor exposure, and collaborate with exchanges, brokers, and clients to ensure smooth trade execution and settlement.

Bullion Officer and Trade Support Executive

Job Description:

• Provide operational support to derivatives trading team
• Perform daily P&L production, reconciliation, and reporting and ensure compliance with risk limits
• Communicate with exchanges, brokers, and clients to resolve trade discrepancies and settlement issues
• Assist in risk monitoring by tracking market exposure, margin requirements, and daily P&L fluctuations
• Monitor market conditions and identify potential opportunities or notable deviations
• Utilize Excel and VBA to automate risk reporting, analyse data, and enhance operational efficiency
Contribute to process improvements and assist in ad hoc projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of financial markets and risk management concepts
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, and VBA are a plus)
• Good communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners
• Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
