Job Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and shut down manufacturing equipment according to operational standards and schedules.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and finished products.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose and respond to quality issues and equipment malfunctions; initiate corrective actions and communicate effectively with relevant teams.
  • Perform quality assurance checks and support compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Record operational and quality data accurately in logs and digital systems.
  • Monitor real-time production status using system tools (e.g., line monitors, SCADA systems).
  • Perform material and consumable replacements (e.g., filters), and manage material flow across workstations.
  • Execute tool changes and machine adjustments during product changeovers.
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of raw materials and components.
  • Configure machine operation settings and participate in parameter optimization.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks according to maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Operate and supervise multiple machines simultaneously, maintaining production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with and support factory automation systems, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and other smart manufacturing technologies.
  • Contribute to process improvements, root cause analysis, and system upgrades.

Job Requirements

Professional Qualifications:

  • A degree in business or a high school diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in similar roles within a manufacturing department is advantageous.
  • Certification in hazardous material handling is advantageous.
  • Certification in safety and health is a plus.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficient in computer operations, including data entry and editing in MS Office (Excel).
  • Capable of entering and editing information in production-related systems.
  • Experience in handling chemical solutions is a plus.

Competencies:

  • Ability to adhere to established rules and procedures.
  • Ability to report issues and relevant information to supervisors as needed.

Attributes:

  • A collaborative and cooperative personality is preferred.
  • Ideally, should not have allergies to rubber gloves or chemicals.
  • Must not be colour vision deficient.

Others:

  • Willingness to work in a shift system, including day shifts, night shifts, and according to the work schedule.
  • Role involves working within a cleanroom environment.
  • May require working under yellow light conditions.
