Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Integration Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical developers, focusing primarily on gathering integration requirements , designing data flow specifications , and coordinating end-to-end interface testing . The consultant should have a strong Techno functional understanding of SAP SuccessFactors (especially Employee Central) and SAP HCM processes, with enough technical acumen to design effective and reliable integrations with third-party systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and analyze interface requirements for inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Understand the data model of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM , including core HR data, organizational structure, and employee lifecycle events.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed Techno functional specifications or interface mapping documents .
  • Define data exchange formats (CSV, XML, JSON, etc.), frequency, triggers, and validations for each interface.
  • Work closely with CPI developers or other middleware teams to ensure technical build aligns with functional requirements.
  • Perform functional testing of integrations and support technical unit testing.
  • Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Track and resolve interface-related issues and data discrepancies.
  • Support cutover planning, go-live activities , and post-go-live monitoring of interfaces.
  • Maintain documentation for interface designs, error handling procedures, and user guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with specific focus on Employee Central and HR business processes .
  • Strong functional understanding of SAP HCM (PA/OM) and HR data elements.
  • Experience in designing or supporting integrations between SuccessFactors and third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, time management).
  • Familiarity with integration approaches such as SFTP-based file exchange , API/web services, and SuccessFactors Integration Center .
  • Ability to create detailed functional specification documents and review technical specifications.
  • Experience in test planning , writing test cases, and coordinating UAT.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with both business and technical teams.
  • Proactive in issue resolution, escalation, and ensuring timely delivery.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or similar middleware tools.
  • Exposure to Integration Monitoring tools and error handling best practices.
  • Experience in post-go-live support and interface stabilization.
