BMS ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Application:
  Lead the design and application of all Building Services and BEMS control systems to ensure optimal building performance and energy efficiency.

• Technical Documentation & Verification:
  Review and verify functional design specifications, points schedules, network schematics, and plant schematics including field device locations.
  Ensure BMS points lists, control sequences, and performance specifications are compliant and complete.

• Collaboration & Support:
  Work closely with internal MEP teams and external stakeholders to align BMS solutions with overall building design and operation goals.
  Support project management in scope development, proposal generation, and scheduling.

• Site Engagement:
  Conduct site surveys and inspections of BMS installations.
  Witness and validate BMS control functionality and performance testing.

• Advisory Role:
  Provide expert input on control strategies and the application of modern BEMS technologies.
  Advise on material and workmanship standards related to BMS.

• Standards Development:
  Assist in the development of in-house technical standards, specifications, and documentation protocols for control systems.

Requirements

• A relevant degree in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in BMS controls development, preferably with involvement in full project lifecycles.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical control systems is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for design coordination.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive project outcomes
