- Ensure financial data integrity, timely reporting, and audit-readiness.
- Champion adoption of financial tools, ERP systems, and automation to streamline operations.
Operations Optimization
- Analyze and improve operational workflows, including invoicing, vendor processes, expense tracking, and approvals.
- Lead implementation of tools and automation that reduce manual effort and increase team efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract cycles, ensuring timely invoicing and strong service levels.
- Monitor regulatory compliance and reporting requirements across local, regional, and global jurisdictions.
- Be a visible champion for operational excellence and continuous improvement across the organization.
Strategic Enablement
- Partner with the Director to realign operational expectations and enable more strategic execution across the team.
- Take a proactive approach to issue-spotting—flagging financial risks, compliance gaps, or resource bottlenecks before they escalate.
- Provide timely insights to senior stakeholders and support quarterly planning and decision-making.
- Navigate legal, risk, and compliance frameworks related to data, governance, and external reporting—especially in regulated or education-related environments.
What You Bring
- 6–10+ years of relevant experience in operations, finance, business management, or similar roles.
- Proven experience leading financial planning, process improvement, and cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, compliance platforms, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to dive into detail while maintaining a strategic view.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills—comfortable working across functions and seniority levels.
- Experience in government-funded programs, the education sector, or workforce skilling is a plus.
Who You Are
- Strategic yet execution-focused – able to zoom out and plan, but also roll up sleeves when needed.
- Change-oriented – not afraid to challenge the status quo and drive adoption of better ways of working.
- Calm under pressure – thrives in fast-paced environments with many moving parts.
- Forward-looking – you’re always thinking a step ahead.
- Collaborative – brings people together, listens well, and works across departments with ease.
- Detail-driven – ensures nothing falls through the cracks, especially when it comes to numbers and compliance.
