Business Development Executive (Jurong, Freight forwarder MNC, 5 days / Ocean or Contract Logistics)

• MNC Freight forwarding company
• Perm role with comprehensive benefits (AL,Bonuses -AWS and VB, medical benefits, company trip yearly)
• Mon to Fri, Office hours
• Basic + Transport allowance + Commission + AWS+ VB
• This is a hunter role
• Reporting to Director

Job Responsibilities

• To promote the service provided by the company - Oceanfreight / Air fright/ ISO tank/ Warehousing services. Plan business strategies to meet the customers’ business objectives.
• Aggressively source and secure new accounts and business.
• Establish and build up a pool of customers.
• Maintain good, professional working relationships and effective communications with existing, and new customers and all internal departments, affiliate offices, and partners.
• Achieve set sales targets and ensure all business transactions meet P&L objectives.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development.
• Monitor and ensure prompt payments for customer receivables.
• Ensure accurate and timely sales reporting to the immediate superior or HOS.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate superior or HOS.
• Identify new business opportunities by researching, identifying, and evaluating the prospective company's position in the industry.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics
• Possess own transport (Not a must requirement) & willing to travel
• Preferable with 2-3 years experience in the freight forwarding industry, have knowledge on either sea freight or Contract Logistics
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
