Your Role

  • Facilitates from enquiry to enforcing of all potential and new applications for life insurance arising from all distribution channels.
  • Conduct due diligence assessment and cross border checks on applications
  • Issuance of medical memo upon request from all Distribution channels
  • Check all forms and documents for completeness and correctness before sending case directly to Underwriter/Reinsurer
  • Coordinate requirements and decisions from the Underwriter/Reinsurer/Compliance and communicate to intermediaries.
  • Liaise directly with Intermediaries and coordinate requirements for the applications.
  • Assist to answer enquiries from customers and intermediaries promptly.
  • Provide service and assistance within expected turnaround times.
  • Closely monitor the progress of applications submitted and keep records of all enquiries and applications.
  • Prepare statistics on new business activities for weekly reporting.
  • Have sufficient knowledge of products, processes and requirements.
  • Gathers information and feedback from intermediaries in terms of underwriting and case processing to ensure competitiveness.

Your Profile

  • Minimum Diploma holder, Degree holder is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a similar industry. Those with life insurance experience preferred.
  • Able to communicate fluently and effectively in written and verbal communication
  • Computer literate with proficient in MS Office applications
  • Proactive with a willingness to master all internal systems
  • Meticulous and able to ensure accuracy in the information provided to intermediaries and clients
  • An independent and responsible team player with the initiative to constantly provide inputs to improve operational effectiveness
  • Pleasant and outgoing disposition, with good attitude and commitment who is able to comply with internal procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to understand customer needs when making decisions
