Operations Manager (Proficient in Vietnamese)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Operation Manager to oversee and enhance our operations across both IT hardware supply and software development services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence across our logistics, procurement, and software delivery functions, particularly with coordination of teams based in Vietnam. Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is essential for effective cross-border communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Oversight: Manage end-to-end operations across hardware procurement, warehousing, distribution, and software project delivery to ensure timely, high-quality service to clients.
• Team Coordination: Supervise both hardware logistics teams and offshore software development teams (primarily in Vietnam), ensuring aligned goals, resource planning, and consistent performance.
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure scalability across both business units.
• Project Delivery: Monitor and support software development timelines, milestones, and KPIs, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee IT hardware sourcing, vendor coordination, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure operational alignment and effective solution delivery.
• People Management: Lead recruitment, performance management, employee development, and team morale-building efforts across both hardware and software operations.
• Reporting & Communication: Maintain regular communication with leadership and offshore teams through structured updates, meetings, and feedback loops.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is essential for coordinating with offshore teams and local stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing operations in IT hardware supply, software services, or both.
• Strong understanding of supply chain practices, software development life cycles, and remote team management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management platforms, and project coordination tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional and cross-border teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented and results-driven mindset.
