Junior System Engineer

Join our IT infrastructure team to support and maintain core systems across Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization environments. Ideal for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual eager to grow in systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environments
• Assist in managing and supporting VMware virtualization infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter)
• Perform regular system backups, patching, and performance tuning
• Respond to incidents and service requests in accordance with SLAs
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file and print services
• Document system configurations, changes, and standard procedures
• Work closely with senior engineers on server provisioning and upgrades
• Participate in system audits and compliance activities
• Assist in evaluating and deploying new tools and technologies
• Ensure systems are secure, updated, and properly monitored

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 0–2 years of hands-on experience with Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu) or Windows Server (2016/2019)
• Exposure to VMware vSphere/ESXi environments
• Familiar with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
• Understanding of system administration tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Good documentation and communication skills
