We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager / Business Development to lead a sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing the daily operations of a sales team, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and meeting the desired key performance indicators. This role requires deep knowledge of the automotive market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Supervise, train, and support sales staff to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, market trends, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Driving long-term revenue growth beyond showroom sales.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding vehicle sales and dealership operations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and dealership events.
  • Oversee inventory management and coordinate with finance and service departments.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and negotiate deals to close sales.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Recruit and onboard new sales staff as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record and experience as a sales Manager or business development or senior sales role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive products, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage inventory and ensure product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership compliance.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • In addition to the base salary, the shortlisted candidate can expect an attractive compensation package, which includes commission and performance-based incentives.
