Senior/Service Engineers, Middle East & Africa

SENIOR / SERVICE ENGINEERS, MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA

Mainly Responsible for:

• Commissioning, troubleshooting, on-site training & technical support on freight container handling

equipment in ports in the Middle East and Africa with primary focus on the Port of Neom, Saudi Arabia.

• Provide feedback to designers and factory personnel on any issues found on site.
• Proposals for new features and enhancements on equipment in service & assist sales teams with compiling quotes.
• The positions are based in Singapore.

Requirements:

• A recognized Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 8 years’ experience with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
• Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs, diagnostics and electrical & hydraulic controls & feedback.
• Willing and able to travel at short notice in the Middle East and Africa and occasionally if required, to crane OEM sites in Asia.
• Prior experience in the region would be an advantage.
• This is a hands-on customer-facing role, the candidate should be analytical, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to represent the Company well and establish good customer relationships.
• Good communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
