Education Executive, Sephora University
We are looking for a highly motivated Education Executive to lead, deploy, and embed Sephora education programs and initiatives. Your objective will be to empower our retail community with a broad range of beauty retail knowledge and skills needed to achieve company goals.
Reporting to the Manager, Education and partnering with internal and external stakeholders, you will identify learning opportunities and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure Sephora’s continued success and leadership in the beauty industry.

- Adapting, deploying, and embedding comprehensive education programs and initiatives for Sephora’s retail employees
- Ensuring that programs and initiatives are engaging, effective, and aligned with Sephora’s brand values and standards
- Ensuring that all training needs are met in alignment with Sephora’s overarching business plan and strategic objectives, contributing directly to the company’s success
- Implementing strategies to assess and facilitate the transfer of learning on the job
- Observing, coaching, and providing feedback to retail employees on the job so they are equipped with necessary knowledge and skills required to perform their role
- Supporting and following up on education programs and initiatives with regular skill assessments, evaluating interactions effectiveness to ensure learning outcomes are successfully embedded and drive tangible results
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of education programs and initiatives through assessments, feedback, and data analysis
- Implementing improvements and best practices to enhance program quality and impact
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in store teams, brand partners, and corporate functional partners, and collaborating and communicating program goals, progress, and outcomes effectively
- Staying up to date on beauty trends and developments in adult education and retail industry
- Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in program design and delivery to keep education content fresh, relevant, and impactful
- Preparing and presenting reports on program performance, outcomes, and impact, maintaining accurate records and documentation of program activities and achievements
- Managing educational resources, including training materials, technology, and facilities, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently
- Administering and maintaining Sephora’s Learning Management System, ensuring seamless access to training resources and optimizing the platform for engagement and effectiveness
- Developing and communicating a comprehensive training schedule, ensuring transparency, and maximizing participation across Sephora’s retail network
We would love to hear from you if you are/have…
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience within a learning / education function, preferably in the retail beauty industry
- Knowledge of contemporary adult learning and development concepts, instructional design principles is a must, experience in digital and social learning preferred
- Strong beauty experience with an understanding of beauty products, trends and techniques used
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation and facilitation skills
- Entrepreneurial and able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous stakeholders
- Team player who can collaborate and contribute to the team and who can work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and solution-oriented
- Client-centric with a commercial mindset, demonstrated ability to drive business KPIs through people development
- Strong organizational and project management skills to balance and prioritize
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software, and possess good Office 365 skills
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
- Passion for beauty and a commitment to fostering learning and development
