We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our dynamic and fast-paced organization. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied and challenging role within an international business, working with a young and motivated team to support the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading our IT systems, as well as providing technical support to our users.

Green Giraffe currently has an IT manager located at our Utrecht office and an IT administrator at our Paris and Singapore offices. In addition, all IT-related matters are supported by team members in other locations who take on this responsibility in addition to their normal advisory activities and under the supervision of our management team. The team is responsible for managing the IT setup and policies. External IT service providers also provide support with respect to day-to-day management of IT systems and troubleshooting.

As the company is growing, we need to add another dedicated IT employee to supplement the team, with supporting all regions. The IT administrator will work closely with the existing IT team and report to the IT manager and is expected to take a key role in the further professionalization, implementation and management of all the company’s IT tools and systems.

The scope of this role will include:

  • Providing proactive input in IT policy formulation for the whole company
  • Based in Singapore but providing support and participating in projects in all the offices
  • Maintaining the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting IT solutions and upgrading systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security
  • Administrating global IT infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software
  • Managing information and communication technology (IP phone, video conference setup, Microsoft Teams administration, Outlook rights, etc.)
  • Installing and maintaining hardware (network, computer, land and mobile phones, wiring) or coordinate such activities across the offices
  • Providing first- and second-level technical support to all users
  • Ensuring service management (software patch and release management, maintenance of hardware and software)
  • Cooperating with external service providers and departments (especially for soft- and hardware updates and procurement)
  • Monitoring and ensuring system integrity and security
  • Monitoring appropriate use of cloud services (Dropbox Enterprise, Microsoft Azure)
  • Automating business processes using IT tools including Microsoft PowerAutomate and Microsoft Copilot

Required education and attributes

The candidate should preferably demonstrate:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge (preferably including relevant certification) of Microsoft product offerings (Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 suite and Microsoft Teams)
  • Knowledge in supervision of cloud storage and infrastructure systems (Dropbox, Azure, Intune)
  • Knowledge in helpdesk and in administration of network infrastructure (workstation, TCP/IP, printer, switches, routers, and firewalls)
  • Experience building solutions with low code/no code development tools such as Microsoft PowerAutomate/Zapier or other coding experience
  • Experience with AI tools such as Copilot (Studio) /ChatGPT or other AI platforms
  • Experience with database design/management
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team, be service-based, work independently, proactively and under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Willingness and availability to travel

Package and application

This job is to be filled on a permanent contract basis and full-time, but we are open to some flexibility with the contract for the right candidate.
