IT Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to manage and maintain the day-to-day technology needs of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting POS systems, managing hardware and network reliability, ensuring cybersecurity best practices, and helping streamline tech operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and troubleshoot Point of Sale (POS) Systems
2. Maintain and secure internet, Wi-Fi, and local networking equipment
3. Provide hardware support (Printers, tablets, digital menus, security cameras)
4. Perform regular software updates and data backups
5. Respond to and resolve tech issues quickly (either on site or remotely)
6. Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors for software tools and service issues
7. Maintain a basic inventory of tech equipment and licenses
8. Support staff with basic tech training when needed.
Requirements
Experience in IT support or systems administration
Worked in a restaurant before.
Familiarity with restaurant technologies, especially POS systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Ability to respond quickly and professionally under pressure
