Card Game Localization / Product Development Executive (Jap to English) #JT

Our Client is a leading Japanese entertainment company, producer of collectible card games and trading cards. They are looking for a Card Game Localization / Product Developement Executive to join their team.

Challenges:

• Schedule, oversee development and product of card game products
• Liaise with Japanese companies for development and production of card game products (80%)
• Translate and localize products from Japanese to English (20%)
• Proofread localized text and product designs

What it Takes:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in any field
• candidate with at least 1 year of relevant experience would be preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and oral, in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates daily (Minimum JLPT N3 competency required)
• Have some knowledge in games or anime
• Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking
• Meticulous and attentive to detail
• Sensitive to cultural and linguistic nuances
• Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events (if any)
Open to travel overseas for business trips when required
