Senior Construction Advisor

As a Senior Construction Advisor provides expert guidance on various aspects of construction projects, including project planning, management, and execution. Be able to work with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities typically include:
- Project Planning and Management:
Developing project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Cost Control:
Analyzing project costs, providing cost estimates, and managing budget adherence.
- Contract Management:
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and managing relationships with contractors and vendors.
- Quality and Safety:
Monitoring project progress, identifying deviations, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Communication and Coordination:
Facilitating communication and coordination between all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Problem-Solving:
Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Technical Expertise:
Providing expert advice on technical matters related to construction, such as materials, methods, and design.
- Reporting and Documentation:
Preparing regular progress reports, documentation, and other required deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement:
Identifying areas for improvement in project processes and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
- A degree holder in a relevant construction-related field or a business-related discipline;
- At least 4-6 years of experience in real estate, asset management, construction management, management consultancy and/or digital transformation in Singapore;
- Comfortable working directly with a senior management team;
- Ability to work with clients as part of a team and deliver tangible outputs within agreed timescales;
- A working knowledge of different capacities in supporting the delivery of large projects, programs and portfolios within Singapore;
- Proficient in Excel and Word;
- Proficient in English and business writings; and other language capability will be added advantage;
- Willingness to travel regionally/globally to client offices and/or FTI regional offices as needed.
- Availability to attend early or late regional/global meetings as required.
