Are you passionate about bringing people together through meaningful experiences? Do you have a flair for curating engaging events and a sharp eye for detail?

As the Head of Department for Social & Lifestyle, you will lead the creation of vibrant events and activities in the largest social club in Singapore, to bring Club Members together and make every moment meaningful. From start to finish, working closely with internal teams, trusted partners, and Club Members to bring your vision to life, whether it's an elegant soirée, a lively family day, or a fresh new concept. Every detail will be thoughtfully planned to surprise, delight, and create lasting memories for our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of social and lifestyle events, from ideation to post-event review.
  • Develop and manage a dynamic annual calendar of activities aligned with member interests.
  • Partner with internal departments and external vendors to deliver high-quality event experiences.
  • Monitor and manage the department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Source and build strategic partnerships that enhance event value and member satisfaction.
  • Oversee the marketing and promotion of events and Club facilities to maximise engagement.
  • Gather and respond to member feedback to continuously improve offerings.
  • Support the Club’s operations by being available during evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in event planning or lifestyle programming, with team management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning tools, familiarity with Canva is a plus.
  • A gregarious, member-focused individual with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Proven track record in delivering creative, high-impact events, ideally in a club or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder.
  • Adept at managing social calendars, timelines, and event reporting.
  • Experienced in budgeting, vendor negotiation, and project execution.
  • Organised, hands-on, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
