The role of an Manager (Ops & Admin) Residential Services is to deputize the Senior Manager (in his/her absence) and be responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial administration, general office administration, estate/facilities management, and inventories/supplies. Assistant Manager (Ops & Admin) is also required to manage a team of clerical officers, Operations Support staff, general workers and contractors. He/ She assists the Senior Manager to oversee the Children's Wing and Hostel operations.

MINDSville@Napiri runs an Adult Disability Home, Children Disability Home, Hostel residential services, and a Training Development Centre is co-located in MV. It aims to provide a safe quality care and engaging programmes to PWIDs of various age and needs, and in accordance to licensing requirements and high standard of corporate governance.


DESIGNATION : Manager, Residential Services

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Administration

  • Exercise efficient financial control to ensure all expenditure and collection of payments/funds are duly processed.

  • Oversee all accounts payable and receivable within centre structure.

General Office Administration and Operations Support

  • Oversee team to ensure sound and efficient administrative processes, in accordance to licensing requirements and high standard of corporate governance.

  • Oversee transport support to MV operations and daily residents/ clients medical appointment and travel needs.

  • Oversees the security, laundry and kitchen operations.

Estate/Facilities Management

  • Manage proper maintenance and improvement projects, check, renew and prepare maintenance contracts for works and supplies.

  • Oversees ECC and fire safety requirements.

Inventories/Supplies

  • Ensure proper inventory management procedures.

  • Oversee and ensure adequate office supplies and furniture for the centre.

Operations and Staff Management

  • Oversee the operations, manpower and programme of Children's Wing and Hostel services.

  • Monitor the overall work performance of Children's Wing, Hostel, Clerical Officers operations support staff General Workers and contractors.

  • Provide supervision, support and mentorship for Children's Wing, Hostel, Clerical Officers and General Workers.

  • Prepare and review reports, inspections and audit.




QUALIFICATIONS
  • Diploma/Degree in any relevant discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant leadership experience will be an advantage.
  • Good organisational and people management skills.
  • Exposure in community care sector is an added advantage.
