The Planning Executive role involves establishing schedules, managing resources, and ensuring that order and fulfilment adhere to timelines and customer requirements; and serves as the primary liaison between the client and internal departments.


Job Responsibilities :


  • Planning and Forecasting
  • Plan, manage, and oversee demand and supply commitments, ensuring timely product availability while minimizing holding costs.
  • Creating production schedules, maintenance schedules, and project timelines.
  • To analyse customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels to the inventory needed for production, and to identify trends and patterns for demand and supply commitments.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improved efficiency and accuracy in the fulfilment process.
  • Usage of data to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to better meet the demand and supply requirements.


  • Order Processing and Inventory Management
  • To monitor inventory levels, identify potential stockouts, and adjust replenishment plans accordingly.
  • Sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the availability of inventory to meet customers’ orders.
  • Handling key accounts’ day-to-day inquiries and requests regarding products, services, and order status to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately, monitored, and fulfilled efficiently.
  • Generate and process shipping documents; and coordinate with the warehouse for timely shipping.
  • Process and review sales orders for order accuracy, delivery process and track order progress.
  • Provide quotations, check on stock availability, shipping schedule within established guidelines.


  • Communication and Coordination
  • Main point of contact for customers, coordinating with internal teams like sales, production, and logistics to ensure smooth order flow.
  • Update customer information and maintain accurate order records.
  • Work with sales and logistics for smooth order processing, shipping and inventory management.
  • Address order-related inquiries, resolve issues like product availability or delivery delays, and identify areas for fulfilment process improvement.


Job Requirements :

  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Procurement or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Autocount system.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
