Job Description :
The Manager will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the Korea Tourism Organization Singapore Office, including HR, payroll, and government compliance. This role also oversees the operation of Korea Plaza — Korea Tourism information center — and manages KTO Singapore's social media presence. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about promoting Korean culture.


Key Responsibilities :

1. Office Administration & HR

  • Manage administrative tasks such as procurement, vendor coordination, and office maintenance.
  • Handle HR-related matters including hiring, onboarding, payroll processing, leave tracking, and employment contracts.
  • Prepare and submit statutory filings (e.g., CPF, IRAS, MOM) and manage work pass applications/renewals in compliance with Singapore regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting and expense tracking for office operations.


2. Korea Plaza Operations

  • Plan and coordinate Korea Plaza programs, including cultural workshops, exhibitions, and visitor engagement activities.
  • Liaise with instructors, vendors, and partners for Korea-related cultural content delivery.
  • Maintain Korea Plaza facilities and ensure a welcoming and informative environment for visitors.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and visitor feedback to improve future activities.


3. SNS Channel Management

  • Manage and grow KTO Singapore’s official social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content that promotes Korea’s travel and cultural appeal.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to inquiries, and analyze performance metrics to improve reach and impact.
  • Collaborate with HQ and external partners for campaign coordination and branding alignment.


4. Market Research & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze tourism market trends in Singapore and the Southeast Asian region.
  • Collect and report data on local travel behaviors, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support KTO’s strategic planning and promotional activities.
  • Support internal reporting duties and presentation materials for the head office and stakeholders.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in administration, business, communications, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in office administration, HR, or operations.
  • Experience managing cultural spaces, customer service, or visitor programs is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and social media management tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Korean proficiency preferred.
  • Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and government portals (e.g. IRAS, MOM, CPF) is essential.
