Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage and oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Fixed Assets Management: Oversee the recording and depreciation of fixed assets.
  • Loan and Hire Purchase Schedules: Maintain schedules and ensure payments are made on time.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • AP and AR Aging: Keep track of aging reports and take necessary actions to maintain healthy balances.
  • Financial Reporting: Draft management reports, cash flow statements, and financial projections.
  • GST Filing: Must have experience in filing Goods and Services Tax (GST) accurately and timely.

Desirable Skills:

  • QuickBooks Online (QBO) Proficiency: Knowledge of using QBO is a plus, enabling efficient management of financial tasks.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to draft financial reports and projections accurately.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
