Job Responsibilities

• Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles.
• Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations.
• Clean and freshen pet hair by washing, shampooing, and conditioning it
• Shave, trim, and style pet hair according to the owner’s preferences
• Maintain overall pet hygiene by clipping nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears
• Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.
• Keep a clean work station by sanitising and sweeping before the arrival of each new client and at the end of each workday
• Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices for their pets

Requirements:

• Mininum 1 year of pet grooming experience
• Graduated from local grooming school or obtained professional certification
• Comfortable working with animals, including anxious, difficult and temperamental ones
• Ability to stand for at least two hours and ability to lift animals that weigh over 25 kg
• Possess positive attitude, Perseverance, Adaptability, Problem-Solving, Work Ethic and Honesty
• Able to treat all pets with compassion
• Good verbal communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Comfort working with various breeds of dogs and cats
