Technical Project Manager

Role Purpose
The Manager role is to manage the maintenance of application system, e.g. Document Management System (DMS), that we have deployed to customer. The person is needed to manage the support team and customer. This is required to meet customer expectations of having a manager to manage the vendor and support team to track and resolve the issues, liaise with customer on the CR proposal and track for project completion, and attend monthly Work group and PSC meeting, provide SLA reports, etc. In addition, the role may require the person to support and participate in RFI/RFP activities and manage multiple projects when required.
Key Accountabilities
The incumbent shall work with the vendor and team to support customers especially in DMS areas. The Incumbent will build up the domain knowledge of the solution and customer business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of DMS projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
- Support and participate in RFI/RFP
- Work on the project scoping during presales to size up the project management effort, and the write-out on project management section for proposal
- Manage multiple projects ensuring Project Scopes, Schedules, Resources and Outcomes are within project milestone timeline and budget.
- Manage project resources, vendors, contractors and deliver according to scope and schedule.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage vendors and support team to track and resolve issues, liaise with customer on the CR proposal and track for project completion
- Attend monthly Work group and PSC meeting, provide SLA reports, etc. Prepare and submit meeting minutes timely.
- Ensure project signoff timely

- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage the different levels of stakeholders and can perform under pressure
- Update Project Repository folders regularly
- Closely monitor, anticipate and escalate project issue early to address situation
- Comply with Company Governance Guidelines
Key Performance Indicators
Desired Experience, Knowledge & Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in management of support team, projects and handling of customers
- Experience in Document Management System (DMS) or similar application knowledge preferably
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- PMP or CITPM certified (5 or more years)
- Need security clearance for Government Projects
