(Senior) Software QA Engineer (Semi Conductor/Automation equipment) – Serangoon

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with software teams to ensure quality standards are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
• Plan and perform software quality audits for key projects.
• Report and track issues found in audits, highlighting their impact on quality and delivery timelines.
• Set up and automate data collection for tracking metrics using tools like Azure DevOps, Power BI, and Smartsheets.
• Ensure all defects are logged, analyzed, and resolved, working with teams and stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
• Support root cause analysis and help resolve critical issues reported internally or by customers.
• Drive process improvements within the software organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with software quality experience (preferably from Electrical/Electronics background).
• Knowledge of C++/C#, .NET, OOP, and SQL.
• Understanding of software development practices and Agile/Scrum.
• Skilled in tools like Azure DevOps, Power BI, Power Automate, Smartsheets, SharePoint.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Proactive, communicative, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
