QAQC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Report on operational procedures related to quality and propose improvement to project quality system
• Ensure that the Project Quality System is properly established, implemented and maintained in accordance to Singapore standards
• Liaise with Authorities, vendors, sub-contractors and external parties on project quality matters and improvement requirements
• Implement overall quality management for project in relation to quality assurance and quality control system
• Review the quality control (internally and externally) of each project and requirements of the following assessment system if applicable a) BCA Quality Mark assessment b) BCA CONQUAS assessment
• Prepare and develop strategies in improving the quality assurance programs in the company
• Prepare and review the inspection and test plan to ensure compliance to Integrated Management System
• Monitor the QC plan and performance, conduct inspection of material, welding works, painting work & perform testing on all components.
• Respond to customer queries and comments regarding QAQC
• Provide adequate training to staff/workers on QAQC requirements and implementation
• Review and coordinate the project quality plan of each project
• Support the tender team pertaining to all QAQC implication and process
• Ensure the project QAQC plan follows specification and contract requirements

Requirements

• Degree in any Engineering disciplines
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience in QA/QC works, preferably with LTA experience
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
