A little taste of your day-to-day:
People
  • Foster an engaged and harmonious team environment by ensuring all team members are well-brief on daily, weekly, monthly and annual targets.
  • Take ownership of the working environment, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary tools, training and information to consistently delivery exceptional guest experiences across all service period ad venues.
  • Ensure proper workforce planning is in place to maintain appropriate staffing levels aligned with anticipated business demands across all areas.
  • Adopt a forward-looking approach by regularly reviewing upcoming business needs for the week, month and year; enabling the team to proactively seize opportunities and minimise risks.
  • Develop strong bench strength by identifying and nurturing talent within the team to support succession planning and future growth.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to drive team performance, manage costs and grow top lines.
  • Work closely with the Kitchen, Sales and Marketing teams on day-to-day operations and forward-focused initiatives.
  • Lead by example during key service period – being present, engaged and hands-on with both team members, residents and patrons to create meaningful experiences.
  • Be an Ambassador for the hotel and its venues, embodying the values and service excellence the brand represents.

Financial

  • Responsible for developing annual budget for both Food and Beverage topline revenue and bottom-line performance, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s overall financial goals.
  • Accountable for achieving department’s budgeted revenue targets.
  • Responsible for managing beverage costs and ensuring front-of-house initiatives are aligned to support overall food cost control.
  • Oversee labour cost management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement to maximise the return on labour investment.
  • Prepare and submit a monthly three-month rolling revenue forecast, along with three ‘Rest-of-Year’ (ROY) forecasts annually for topline revenue.
  • Forecast departmental direct cost lines – such as crockery, cutlery, and glassware – on a monthly basis and through three ROY forecasts each year.

Guest Experience

  • Foster teamwork and delivery quality service throughout consistent daily communication and effective coordination with colleagues across all departments.
  • Take ownership of guest experience scores across both internal and external channels – including mystery audits, brand standard evaluations, internal surveys, and online guest reviews.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools, training and resources to consistently delivery exceptional service.
  • Culture a ‘can-do’ culture that empowers colleagues to go above and beyond, with regular recognition of efforts at daily, weekly and monthly intervals.
  • Contribute to shaping a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with IHG’s Winning Ways and uphold the IHG Commitment in all aspects of leadership and service.

Responsible Business

  • Support the implementation of IHG’s Responsible Business initiatives by developing and promoting programmes aligned with corporate social responsibilities goals.
  • Regularly review and update daily operational practices to ensure ongoing efforts to minimise hotel’s environmental impact.
  • Support and drive full compliance in Brand Standards and Human Resources audit requirements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all hotel and company’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, and with emphasis on food hygiene and responsible service of alcohol.


What We need from you:
  • Proven experience in managing a standalone venue or a high-volume, high profit operation within a 4 to 5-star hotel environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of effective cost management and revenue generation.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English; additional language proficiency a plus.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Positive attitude, approachable personality, and strong team spirit.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Creative mindset with up-to-date knowledge of current food and beverage trends.
  • Proficient in basic Excel functions and familiar with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems such as MICROS, Infosys, or similar platform
